Born and raised In Australia, Jasmine graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga majoring in Acting for the Screen and Stage. Ironically, it was during her time studying performing arts she discovered her true passion for the craft of the lens. After graduating Jasmine went to focus and hone in her camera skills training and working as an AC in Sydney. From here Jasmine was accepted into the competitive Australian Film and Television Radio School (AFTRS) camera assisting internship (at the time the school only admitted two AC positions per year). Jasmine continued to AC on various commercial film sets before being accepted into the ARRI Australia camera internship in 2007.
After relocating to the US, Jasmine went on to work as a freelance camera operator filming and live-streaming runway and fashion shows with Indigital Media. Currently, Jasmine works as a camera operator on commercials, photographing live events but her passion lies with filming documentaries.
Over the years Jasmine has photographed two nutrition books for "Eat Naked" and one book for Sally Joseph "Love Your Gut". In 2011, Jasmine's images were accepted into the juried exhibit of Filter Photo Festival in Chicago. She has also photographed for the AFI (American Film Institute) festival and life achievement awards, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society as a photographer and videographer, lending her platform as a voice for others. In the summer Jasmine teaches photography classes to teenagers at the Los Angeles Centre of Photography. Jasmine is an associate member of the SOC (Society of Camera Operators) and an active member of the ACS (Australian Cinematographers Society).
