Jasmine Lord is an LA based focus puller (1st AC) in the camera department. An avid photographer, Jasmine utilizes every spare moment to continue learning about photography and how it applies to her other passion cinematography.

Having trained as a camera assistant through the Volunteer Attachment Scheme (a 10 week internship) at the Australian Film, Television & Radio School in Australia, Jasmine went on to AC on numerous short films, commercials, music clips & documentaries. Jasmine also completed a 6 month traineeship with ARRI Australia, become well versed in ARRI cameras.

Jasmine has been shooting on Canon cameras since 2002, when she purchased her first SLR at B&H in NYC. In January 2009, Jasmine bit the bullet and purchased her first DSLR... the 5D Mark II.

Jasmine still loves film with all her heart, but does admit, loving the ability to experiment and make mistakes without it costing a pretty penny in developing. Most of the images you will be looking at were shot with a 50mm 1.8 Canon lens & the L Series 28-70mm 2.8.

Jasmine has enjoyed learning about the development process in the digital darkroom. Jasmine has also taken short courses to further her knowledge of using post tools, studying Lightroom 2 at Samys in LA, Colour Theory at Santa Monica Community College & B&W printing.
